Eating grapes can boost your skin’s natural protection against the sun.
After just two weeks of eating the fruit every day, the skin starts to develop protective genes that promote healthier and stronger skin.
Earlier trials had demonstrated that grapes improve the skin’s resistance to UV radiation in up to half of people, depending on their genetic profile, but researchers from Western New England University think that everyone can be helped by the fruit.
Eating three servings of grapes every day for two weeks start to trigger the skin’s protective qualities, they found.
